Last night I rocked up to one cool collaboration and launch night: The London College of Fashion Illustration pop-up at H&M Oxford Circus London. From Monday 16th March to Sunday 29th March 2015, the 4th floor lounge at H&M Oxford Circus will be transformed into a glorious pop-up gallery showcasing a collaboration with the LCF’s BA Fashion Illustration graduates. Exhibiting the students’ interpretation of the latest fashion trends and H&M’s current fashion collections, the exhibtion is definitely a must for your fashion event list.
Sue Drayton, the course director and the illustrators who created the gallery joined the launch to talk us through their inspiration behind the illustrations. I loved the freedom of the sketches, and each artist’s individual, unique way of interpreting their view on the trends for the new season. It really inspired me to continue with my own fashion illustrations (which you’ll be seeing more of on the blog very soon!). See some of the work from the likes of Maise Noble, Joseph Larkowski, Adriana Krawcewicz, Fiona Gourlay and Isabella Cotier below, and visit the gallery yourself from Monday 16th March 2015.
We were treated to some personal illustrations too by Louise OKeeffe
